Northway Insurance of Park Rapids is a locally owned independent insurance agency. For over 60 years, we have been committed to giving you the service you deserve. We will design an insurance plan that best protects you, your family, your business and the assets you’ve worked so hard for.
We contract with numerous insurance companies in order to find the best insurance product and price for you. Northway Insurance has markets for all types of business and personal insurance including home, seasonal home, auto, boat, umbrella, motorcycle, ATV, motorhome, and snowmobile in addition to life insurance and annuities.
We also insure building contractors, stores, offices, restaurants, car dealers, body shops, resorts and more. We have a business insurance solution for you.
Kari Wiese
Kari has been in the insurance industry since 1999. She has worked for Northway Insurance for the entire duration of her insurance career and has longstanding relationships with our clients. She specializes in personal property insurance lines and works hard to find the right coverage for you and your family.
Before obtaining both her property/casualty and life/health insurance licenses, she worked in the brokerage business for both Dean Witter and Dain Rauscher in the Twin Cities. She and her husband’s connection to the Park Rapids area started long before they became permanent residents in 1999. Brian’s grandmother owned Scotty’s Cabins in Park Rapids and Kari’s family vacationed here in the summer.
Kari and her husband Brian live in Park Rapids and have one daughter, Samantha. Brian is retired and in their spare time, they enjoy hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors with their golden retriever, Cooper. Samantha graduated from Concordia College, Moorhead, lives in the Park Rapids area and works for Sanford Health.
Andria Nordick
Andria is a native of Sauk Centre, MN. After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of St. Benedict, she accepted a position as a workers’ compensation adjuster with St. Paul (Travelers) Insurance in St. Paul, MN. Although she enjoyed her time in St. Paul, she spent time in Park Rapids with her family growing up and loved it so much she decided to make it her permanent home. Before leaving St. Paul, she attained her property/casualty and life/health insurance licenses. She has worked on the agency side of insurance since 2006 and truly enjoys it. Andria will find the best coverage for you whether it is your personal property or your business needs.
Andria and her husband Jeremy live in Park Rapids and have three school age daughters. As a family, they enjoy spending time on the lakes, biking on the Heartland trail, and attending sporting events. Andria also enjoys fishing with her dad and running. After teaching and coaching varsity football and basketball in Menahga, MN, for almost twelve years, Jeremy is the Activities Director at Park Rapids Area Schools. He also serves as the Head Football Coach of the Park Rapids Panthers.
